Nestling alongside the River Aire in the pretty Yorkshire Dales village of Airton sits the old Airton Mill which is now a series of gorgeous converted apartments.

No 16 Riverside Walk is a well presented 1st floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, self-catering apartment, forming part of a grade ll listed former corn mill known as Airton Mill.

Relax in the communal garden area and explore down by the river. Walk into Malham by the riverside and you will be rewarded with the most beautiful scenery!

Accommodation

Over 2 floors, the apartment features many of the original oak beams. It offers accommodation for 2-5 people and provides an excellent base for many stunning walks and cycle rides. Conveniently, The Pennine Way/ Dales Way passes the front of the mill along the river.

Originally the apartment comprised of only 1 floor before the loft was converted creating further spacious accommodation, including an ensuite with large walk in shower. The loft features a Super King size bed which can be separated to create two single beds if required. There is also a small single top bunk bed* made specifically for children that has been crafted to incorporate the loft beams. The loft room also includes a number of family games, books and DVD’s to entertain you throughout your stay.

We advise that the small single bunk bed is specifically for older children and is not suitable for anyone under the age of 8 and over the age of 12. A folding single Z bed is available on request if the top bunk bed is not suitable.

The first floor includes a bedroom featuring a King Size bed and views of the river below. This floor further includes a bathroom with shower and small bath, a stylish living room with enough seating for 5 people and a well equipped kitchen diner (including washing machine) with oak beams and views of the river below.

There is a TV and DVD player in the loft bedroom and TV in the living room.

A travel cot bed and high chair are available on request. 1 free parking space is available; further parking can be found next to the village green.
